Joe grew up in Burnsville, MN. After graduating high school he continued his education at Moorhead Technical College and earned an AAS Degree in Carpentry. Following completion of his degree, he established Erickson Construction in the Twin Cities area. Joe has over eight years of experience focusing on home renovation. In 2015, Joe became a Realtor and joined the Wolff & Simon Team. His dedication to community keeps him busy as he served a 3-year term on the Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity Board and has been an active member of the Park Rapids Volunteer Fire Department since 2018.

Throughout Joe’s childhood he would head “Up North” to the Park Rapids area to hunt, fish, and camp. Over the years he fell in love with the land and all it had to offer. In 2013 he and his wife, Elise, decided to make the move to the northland to be surrounded by the great outdoors. Joe and Elise were blessed with the addition of their son, Finnley, in the Fall of 2017. They have enjoyed seeing him grow in this great community surrounded by Minnesota's natural beauty with their pup, Scout by his side.
